Jack Charlton, who recently passed away, was a member of England FIFA team. They won 1966 FIFA World Cup

Charlton recently died at home on 10 July 2020 in his native Northumberland in northeast England. John Charlton OBE DL was an English footballer and manager who played as a defender. He was part of the England team that won the 1966 FIFA World Cup by defeating West Germany. Charlton was also named FWA Footballer of the Year in 1967.
