Who took the first selfie in the world

There is a very interesting story of who took the first self portrait, also know as mdern day "Selfie". Robert Cornelius took the first photographic self-portrait in early 1839. Cornelius set his camera up to take an image of himself in the back of his family-run chandelier store. He then ran into the frame so the camera can capture him. This way the first-ever 'selfie' was taken. On the back of the photo, he wrote “The first light Picture ever taken 1839”.
